Libby

Libby

Libby is a free app where you can borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and eMagazines from your public library. You can stream with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. All you need to get started is your library card.

On your mobile device or desktop:
– Download the Libby app or visit the website
– Find your library (Township of Russell Public Library / Ontario Library Service Consortium)
– Login with your library card number.
– Borrow free eBooks, audiobooks and eMagazines.

From your Windows 10 or earlier computer or to add to an eReader:
– Visit the Download Center Website
– To login, choose Russell Township Public Library and enter the 6 digits of your library card.
– Borrow free eBooks, audiobooks and eMagazines.

hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, eBooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone – and even your TV! Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. There are no holds in hoopla – all items are available to you at all times! You may check out up to 7 titles per month. The lending period depends on the media type:

Movies & television episodes: 3 days
Music albums: 7 days
eBooks, Audiobooks & digital comics: 21 days

The monthly borrow limit resets on the first day of each month. Previous borrowed items will remain until the end of their lending period. Titles are automatically returned and removed from your device at the end of the lending period.
