FAMILY STORY BUNDLES

Pressed for time? Need some picture books and activities for your little one(s)? Request a Family Story Bundle: A ready-made bundle which will include picture books, a song, and instructions for a craft based on age and theme. Simply email or call us with your request for a Family Story Bundle with the age and desired theme. We will do our best to find related books according to what is available or a different selection will be made. We will call you when your order is ready for curbside pickup. 613.445.5331

Storytime with Kristina

Join us for songs, rhymes, finger plays & other book related activities. For babies 0 to 18 months old & their parent or caregiver. No cost. Registration is required as space is limited. While the weather permits, we will meet outside at the Russell branch. We will go indoors if it rains or during colder weather. No meetings on Sep. 23 & Nov. 11.


Toddler Time: Take & Make (FULL)
Passive activity
All day Friday
October 8th to December 3rd

A bilingual take & make kit will be prepared and ready for pickup each Friday. The kits will contain the instructions and materials for a craft along with two to three books to accompany the weekly theme. No cost. Registration is required. For toddlers 18 to 36 months.

Adult and Young Adult Programming – Autumn 2021

French Language Training FULL
In-person activity @ the Russell branch
Tuesdays 1:00-2:30 PM
October 5th to December 7th

The French Language Training program is designed to enhance participants’ confidence when speaking French in social settings. The meetings would aim at improving oral expression and/or reactivating prior knowledge. It is recommended that anyone interested in the program have a basic knowledge of the French language and is capable of forming simple sentences.


Adopt-A-Book Annual Fundraiser
October 16th to November 20th

Adoptions can be made in person at both branches, by email or by phone.  Donations by debit, cheque, cash and e-transfer are available.  Share the magic of reading with your community!
