
Residents and Property Taxpayers

- Township of Russell residents and property taxpayers can obtain a FREE Library Card. Identification and proof of residence must be provided.
- Kids of any age can get their own library card! (A parent or adult guardian must sign the application of a child under 16 and assumes full responsibility for the child’s choice of borrowing material as well as any fees incurred.)
- Public organizations, community groups & associations and businesses located in the Township of Russell may obtain a free library card. A duly appointed representative must complete and sign the registration form.
A library membership card is valid for two years from the date of issue and entitles the cardholder to a full range of services and materials available at both branches of the library. Patrons are expected to present their cards at the circulation desk when signing out library materials.
Non-Residents

Non-resident memberships are available to persons residing outside of the Township of Russell. Non-resident memberships are valid for one year from the date of issue and entitle the cardholder to a full range of services and materials available at both branches of the library.
Annual non-resident fees: $45.00 (+ $4.00 for each additional card)
Lost Cards
Members are responsible for all transactions on their card. They must notify the library if their card is lost or stolen. A new card will be issued for free.
