
Both branches provide printing, photocopying, faxing and scanning services.
Services and Fees
- Printing (B&W): 25¢ per page
- Printing (Colour): 50¢ per page
- 3D Printing (Mandatory Training $5): $1 + 15¢ a gram
- Photocopying (B&W): 25¢ per page
- Fax: $1.00 for the first page + 25¢ for each additional page + long distance charges when applicable
- Lamination: $1.00 per 8×10 page
- Buttons: $2.00 per button. On sale in both branches or contact us to print your own design.
- Scanning: Free
- Exam Proctoring: Free for residents, $35 per exam for non-residents
3D Printing

The Russell Branch has a Creality K1C 3D Printer which library patrons can learn to use to print their own 3D models.
Using the printer:
- You need a valid library card to use the 3D printer;
- You must participate in a training session at the library before using the printer;
- There is a cost of $5 for the training session. Register for the next training session in person, by email mylibrary@russellbiblio.com or by phone 613-445-5331
- You must be 13 years old or older to use the printer or be accompanied by an adult;
- The printer is available on a first come, first serve basis;
- There is a maximum print time of 4 hours* (*if your project needs longer, please contact us);
- All prints must be completed 30 minutes before the library closes.
Cost to print:
There is a charge of $1.00 per object plus an additional $0.15 per gram, rounded to the nearest gram.
**The library’s 3D printer may be used for lawful purposes only and cannot be used to create the following content:
- Models of offensive items;
- Drug paraphernalia and smoking accessories;
- Weapons or weapon parts of any size;
- Objects that infringe upon intellectual property rights;
- Objects that are obscene or otherwise inappropriate for the Library environment.
