During this session, Ottawa-based IM/IT and cybersecurity professional Christian J. Barnett will demonstrate simple ways to use AI for everyday tasks, including:
- Writing and editing
- Planning and organizing
- Brainstorming ideas
- Solving problems
- Getting started with AI tools such as ChatGPT
You’ll also learn how to create clear, reusable “prompt recipes” that can help you get better results from AI—without having to become an expert at writing prompts.
What’s on the agenda?
The evening will include short live demonstrations, an interactive Q&A, and practical tips for making the most of AI tools.
Because AI-generated information isn’t always accurate, Christian will also share essential tips for checking and verifying AI results. You’ll learn practical ways to use these tools more responsibly, including important considerations for protecting your privacy.
