The Township of Russell Public Library is proud to present its Local Author Showcase, a month-long celebration of homegrown literary talent. Taking place on Saturdays in May from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Russell Branch, this free, drop-in series invites the community to connect with the writers who live and create right here in our region.
The library will welcome a diverse group of local authors from the Township of Russell and surrounding communities. Each week offers a new opportunity to explore different voices, genres, and creative journeys. From children’s books to historical fiction, poetry to science fiction, there’s truly something for every kind of reader. The event highlights the rich literary talent in our community showcasing 17 local authors in both English and French. See the list of authors here.
