You’re Invited! Volunteer appreciation event and open house!
Join us as we celebrate the heart of our community—our amazing volunteers!
Russell Branch Library
Sunday, April 26, 2026
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
This year, to honor our incredible volunteers, we are planting a native Witch Hazel tree in the library’s flower bed. A tree is a lasting symbol of growth, strength, and community—much like the impact you’ve had on our library. With roots that deepen over time and branches that reach outward, it represents the enduring difference your contributions make.
Be there for the grand unveiling as we celebrate National Volunteer Week and join us for our Open House!
Event Highlights:
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – A few words from the Mayor and the Library CEO, followed by the tree unveiling.
1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Social Open House inside the library with finger foods & beverages
Volunteers, friends, family, and community members—everyone is welcome! Let’s come together to celebrate and show our appreciation!
We can’t wait to see you there!
