Join us for a fun, hands-on STEAM activity. Using simple materials you’ll build a triangular mirror chamber and decorate your own spinning design to look through. As you turn your kaleidoscope and peer inside, you’ll see beautiful, repeating patterns created by the reflected light.

Create a personalized piece of art by joining our Yarn-Wrapped Cardboard Letters activity! Using cardboard, yarn, scissors and glue, you’ll wrap your letter tightly with yarn until it’s completely covered — creating a colourful, handmade decoration.

Binary Beading

For children 4 years and older (younger children might need the help of an adult)
Learn the basics of computer coding in a creative, hands-on way with Binary Beading! Participants will use colorful beads to spell their name or a short message in binary code—the language computers use to store information—and turn it into a bracelet or necklace.

Colouring Contest
March 14 to 21
Ages 3-12 years
Both branches

Get your pencils and markers out for your chance to win a gift card of your choice ($25)! Children are invited to show off their artistic skills in this colouring contest. Good luck to all participants!

Contest Timeline: The contest opens on Saturday, March 14 and ends on March 21 at 5 pm. Make sure to submit your entry before the deadline.
Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced on Monday, March 23 on our social channels. The winner will also be contacted individually.
