Take on our Adult Summer Reading Challenge 2026 by exploring 20 fun reading categories inspired by sunshine, beaches, road trips, adventure, and all the best parts of summer. How many categories can you complete?
Final prize: a $50 gift card to Booksellers.ca (2 winners will be chosen)
To sign up:
1. Download the Beanstack Tracker App to your smart phone or device, (and search for Township of Russell Public Library (CAN) or visit russellbiblio.beanstack.org to use the browser version.
2. Register yourself for an account. (If you already have a Beanstack account, there’s no need to make a new one)
3. Select the Summer Reading Challenge to see the categories and start the challenge!

We’re excited to reveal our 2026 Year-Long Reading Challenge. It’s a fun, flexible way to discover new books, expand your literary horizons, and maybe even win a prize!
What’s the challenge all about?
- From January 5 to December 21, 2026, you can aim to read 50 award-winning books in 50 weeks.
- You can read print books, eBooks, audiobooks, or books from home — whichever you prefer.
- At the end of the year — in January 2027 — one lucky reader will win a $50 gift card to Chapters Indigo.
