Adopt-A-Book and Grow Our Collection

Our annual Adopt-A-Book fundraiser is coming up soon, and we’re inviting our community to help us grow the Library’s collection—one new book at a time!

How does Adopt-A-Book work?

From October 17 to November 21, you’ll find a selection of new titles available for adoption at both the Russell and Embrun Branches.

  1. Browse the selection of new books available for adoption.
  2. Choose a book you’d like to donate to the Library. The adoption price is indicated on the book.
  3. Make your donation and, if you wish, add your name to the donor sticker inside the book. You can also remain anonymous or adopt a book in someone else’s name.
  4. Enter for your chance to win a $25 gift card! Every donation gives you a chance to win.

And there’s an extra perk for book lovers: if you adopt a book, you get first dibs on borrowing it—even if there’s already a waitlist!

New titles will be added every week throughout the campaign. Come by the library to see what’s available and find a book you’d love to add to our shelves!
