ABOUT US
The Township of Russell Public Library Board has a mission to offer a rich and rewarding
learning experience, in a gathering place that fosters social experiences and connections while
sharing the love of writing and reading. We serve a population of 19,598 (2021 Census Profile)
and act as a community hub that provides a modern, welcoming space and equitable public
library service for families and community members.
PROJECT DETAILS
We are looking to hire a janitorial cleaning service for the Russell Branch of the Township of
Russell Public Library located at 1053 Concession St. RUSSELL.
The contract will be for a term of one year and either party can terminate the contract by giving
8 weeks written notice.
Service will be provided 3 times per week outside the library’s normal operating hours.
The area to be serviced includes the kids’ section, the teen section, the public Internet access
section, the lounge and seating section, the adult collection section, a circulation desk, one
office, and three single washrooms.
Additionally, communication with the CEO or Branch Head is essential to discuss any issues or
report necessary repairs to equipment or the building.
INSURANCE
The Township of Russell Public Library Board requires a copy from the Contractor of a
Commercial General Liability Insurance.
PRICING
Payment by cheque (or alternative payment options) for services rendered monthly upon receipt
of invoice as per the agreed contract.
