The Russell Public Library is proud to provide opportunities for local authors to promote their books and connect with library patrons and community members. Throughout May, our Local Author Month will feature weekly showcases held every Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Russell Branch.
Local authors from the Township of Russell and surrounding communities are invited to apply to be featured in the Library’s Local Author Month. Author submission applications must be received by April 2, 2026. Accepted authors will be given a table and a chair in the main area of the library to promote and sell their books. Authors will be responsible for supplying their books for sale and for collecting payment.
Authors interested in participating are invited to complete the registration form below for consideration. Authors in both French and English are invited to participate.
Applicants will be notified by Tuesday, April 7th regarding the status of their application. Please email mylibrary@russellbiblio.com with questions.
Participation in the Library’s Local Author Month is by application only. Due to space limitations, not all applications may be accepted. The Library staff reserve the right to accept or decline any application.
