Food for Fines is back again this year! Clear your outstanding fines and help your community!
From November 13th to November 30th, patrons are invited to drop off non-perishable food donations to the Russell or Embrun branch. For every item donated during the campaign, $2,50 in library fines will be waived from your account to a maximum of $25 (10 items).
List of in demand items:
– Cereal
– Granola bars
– Pudding
– Juice boxes
– Crackers (ex. Ritz)
– Tomato soup / sauce
– Pasta
– Rice
– Canned vegetables
All items will be donated to the Good Neighbours Food Bank in Embrun.
Bring your items to either branch during opening hours.
